After a solid 2 year hiatus from posting I have decided to unretire and re-enter the blogging world. My main motivation is selfish. I find that there is such a difference in the clarity of my thought when I have to explain something in writing. The process of whitling away each unneeded thought or word allows you to distill your beliefs and get down to the core of understanding something.
As one of my favorite quotes says, "if I had more time I would have written you a shorter letter".
